The Village Playgroup, Werrington
The Village Playgroup offers both Preschool education and ‘Parent & Toddler’ sessions throughout the week during term times. The Playgroup is run from The Village Centre, Werrington, where we have use of the main hall, a small enclosed outside play area and a large gated grassy field for outside play. Our staff are experienced and enthusiastic and we welcome all children into our Playgroup.
Our Preschool has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding (2022).
In 2015, we were presented with Werrington Neighbourhood Council’s ‘Community Contribution Award’ for exceptional service to the community, while in 2013 parents voted our Parent & Toddler group their favourited in North Cambridgeshire.
Registering Your Child
for a Preschool Place
To add your child to our waiting list for a place at The Village Playgroup’s Preschool, please complete a Child Registration Form and then return the completed form to us. Once your child becomes of age and a place is available we will then contact you to offer you a place.
Parent &
Toddler Group
At our Parents & Tots Group we invite children from birth to pre-school age together with parents, guardians, grandparents or childminders to enjoy a play session in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Sessions run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Term time only).
OFSTED rating of OUTSTANDING
In February 2022 we were awarded an OFSTED rating of OUTSTANDING.
